The original swept wing Phoenix, circa August, 1965, by Don Lowe. The beginning of a long line of the Phoenix pattern aircraft.

The Phoenix has a built up wing only, as per original RCM plans.

The only change from the plans was the change of two ply parts from 3/32" PLY to 1/8" PLY. The 3" wide 3/32" balsa doublers(45 degree sheeting strips) are not included, since it is very easy to glue on and sand to fuse edge. Fuse is constructed in 3 parts to fit on 36" wood, which lowers shipping costs.
